SUOJELIUS – PATRONUS (Harry Potter)

”The Patronus is a kind of positive force, a projection of the very things that teh dementor feeds upon – hope, happiness, the desire to survive – but it cannot feel despair, as real humans can, so the dementors can’t hurt it.”

Suojelius on eräänlainen ankeuttajan vastavoima ja ainoa keino karkoittaa ankeuttajat. Suojelius on positiivisten tunteitten ja toivon luoma hahmo, joka ottaa jonkin eläimen muodon. Tämä eläin kuvaa jollakin tavalla suojeliuksen luojaa. Yleisimpiä suojeliuksia ovat kuulemma kissat, koirat ja hevoset. Pottermoren ”virallisen suojeliustestin” mukaan minun suojeliukseni olisi lohi, mikä on minusta aika siistiä.

Patronus is kind of the counter-force to a dementors and the only way to chase dementors away. Patronus is takes the form of an animal and is formed of good feelings and hope. The animal form it takes somehow represents the person who cast the patronus. The most common patronus animals are cats, dogs and horses. According to the ”Pottermore official patronus test” my petronus would be a salmon which I think is pretty cool.
