CUTHBERTIT – THE CUTHBERTS (Anna-sarja – Anne series)

Cuthbertien vanhapiikasisarukset Marilla ja Matthew tarvitsivat apupojan tilalleen Vihervaaraan, ja pyysivät että heille lähetettäisiin orpokodista poika kasvatiksi ja apuriksi. Jonkin väärinkäsityksen takia he saivatkin tytön, tavattoman puheliaan ja mielikuvituksellisen mutta traumatisoituneen Annan. The old and unmarried Cuthbert siblings Marilla and Matthew needed someone to help them at the Green Gables farm and asked an orphanage to send them a boy to help and be raised. Due to some misunderstanding the got a girl instead, the endlessly talkative and imaginative yet traumatized Anne. After some initial trouble Anne stayed at the Green Gables, and that was the best thing that could have ever happened to these three. Anne needed both Matthew’s kind understanding and Marilla’s firm upbringing to grow up to a happy adult – and Marilla and Matthew needed Anne’s dreams and enthusiasm to realize that their stories weren’t finished either.
