A MONTH OF TRAVELLING – F
FANTAASIA – FANTASTICA (Tarina vailla loppua – The Neverending Story)
“In Fantastica there are no measurable distances, so that ‘near’ and ‘far’ don’t at all mean what they do in the real world. They vary with the traveler’s wishes and state of mind. Since Fantastica has no boundaries, its center can be anywhere – or to put it in another way, it is equally near to, or far from, anywhere.”
In the magical land of Fantastica there is everything: wondrous forests, really high and unclimbed mountains, colorful deserts, djinnis, dragons, four-faced trolls… But no maps. The land of Fantastica doesn’t operate according to the laws of physics, but rather according to the laws of story: everything is where it needs to be, and the place can change if it suits the story better. But in a world that follows the laws of story, you have to be careful not to lose reality…
