ENTIT – ENTS (Taru sormusten herrasta – The Lord of the Rings)

Entit näyttävät käveleviltä puilta, mutta eivät suinkaan ole sitä. Ne ovat puiden paimenia ja metsän vartijoita, jotka huolehtivat metsien puista ja eläimistä. Entit pysyttelevät enimmäkseen omissa oloissaan ja puolueettomina, mutta auta armias, jos menet kaatamaan puita enemmän kuin on tarpeen. Maidän maailmallamme olisi käyttöä muutamalle entille ja niiden viisaudelle.

Ents look like walking trees but are not. They are tree-herders, shepprads of the forest, who take care of the woods, their trees and animals. The ents mostly keep to themselves and don’t choose sides, but God help you if you cut down more trees than needed. Our world could surely use some ents and their wisdom.
