And for my non-Finnish readers: a really interesting bird fact. The crows we have here in Finland are called hooded crows (Corvus cornix) and they are black-and-grey. The crows of West Europe, carrion crows (Corvus corone) are all black. Ornithologists fight over whether or not (or feather or not?) these are the same species or not. Then there is of course the rook (Corvus frugilegus) that lives all over Europe and is also black but it looks different from other crows (at least to me).
