Siksi suunnilleen jokaisessa James Bond -leffassa pitää olla kohtaus, jossa hullu tiedemies Q esittelee uusimman agenttiauton hienoudet. Jokainen hilavitkutin on takuuvarma Chehovin ase – jos se esitellään elokuvan alussa, sitä varmasti käytetään ennen rainan loppua.

A secret agent must have a car. And not any old car but a nice car with all the cool guns and gadgets. This is why in pretty much every James Bond movie there has to be a scene where the crazy inventor Q shows us the properties of the new agent car. Every gadget is surely a Chekhov’s gun – if it is shown in the beginning of the movie, it is definitely going to be used before the end credits.
