Remus Lupinilla ei lapsena ollut ystäviä, koska hän oli ihmissusi, eikä ihmissusilla juuri ole kavereita. Mutta kun hän meni kouluun, hän sai kolme ystävää, James Potterin, Sirius Mustan ja Peter Piskuilanin, jotka eivät hylänneet häntä, kun totuus paljastui heille. Päin vastoin, he jopa rupesivat animaageiksi voidakseen olla Remuksen kanssa tämän ollessa susi. As a child, Remus Lupin had no friends because he was a werewolf and werewolves generally don’t have buddies. But when he went to school, he got three friends, James Potter, Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew who didn’t abandon him even when they found out the truth. On the contrary, they even became animagus so that they could be with Remus even when he was a wolf. And even though in the end it all ended badly, Remus’ school years were the best time of his life, thanks to the other ”Marauders”.
