Kaverini Doux, Sparky ja Abu veivät minut syntymäpäivälahjaksi baariin – jossa oli maalaustuokio, jossa maalattiin akryylimaaleilla peikonlehtiä (= monstera). Se oli hauskaa.
For a birthday present my friends Doux, Sparky and Abu took me to a bar – where we got to paint monsteras (= house plants) with acrylic paints. It was fun.


Aloitimme tietenkin taustasta.
We started, of course, with the background.

En ilmeisesti pysty koskaan maalaamaan mitään ilman, että käännän sen ainakin jossain vaiheessa ylösalaisin.
Apparently I can’t paint anything without turning it upside down at some point.

CHOCOLATE ART

Meillä oli työpaikan tyhy-päivä Fazerin tehtaalla. Siellä sai koristella suklaalevyn. Kun toiset marmoroivat ohjeen mukaan, minä aloin piirtää…
We had our work recreation day at the Fazer Chocolate Factory. We got to decorate chocolate bars. Others made chocolate marble decorations, I started drawing…

Äitini totesi tähän, että ”Olisin voinut lyödä kuukausipalkkani vetoa, että sä et tyydy marmorointiin.” Olenko ennalta-arvattava?
My mother stated, ”I could have bet my month’s salary that you are not settling for marbling”. Am I a bit predictable?
