DURING THE DAYLIGHT HOURS

”It’s only eight o’clock. I’m so not getting up yet.” //
”Z” //
”Breakfast time…” //
”Gotta get outdoors since the Sun is shining for a change.” //
”Nom nom.” //
”Well. It’s dark again. Time to go back to bed.” //
”This is how it goes. My vacation-state-of-mind is that I’m not getting up before ten, and after it gets dark it’s night-time. No wonder the days feel short. Or, as Snowhorse put it…”
”Hello darkness my old friend, why are you here at four p.m.?”

Jos ei sauna, viina ja terva auta…

IF SAUNA, VODKA AND TAR DON’T HEAL YOU…

”Aaa-tshuuuh!!!” //
”Ugh, my sore throat hasn’t got any better. I might be getting the flu properly. Which would suck right now.” //
”You’re not getting the flu. You’re just imagining it. It’s all between your ears.” //
”You’re just trying to gaslight me to not be sick, aren’t you?” ”Yeah.”

Se parhaiten nauraa…

SHE WHO LAUGHS LAST…

”…so we didn’t go after all.” ”Heh, there’s a hole on the elbow of your shirt.” //
”I mean. I wouldn’t laugh if I were you. Your short is so old it doesn’t even have elbows anymore.” //
”…” //
”Hahahaha! Okay, you won this round!” ”Hehehe.”

StarWarsTober jatkuu!
On with the StarWarsTober!

’Frog Lady’ on hahmo Mandalorianista, eikä varmaan olisi liikaa pyytää, että vuorosanoja saaneella hahmolla olisi oikea nimikin… No jaa, tykkäsin siitä, kun hirviöiden jahdatessa Frog Lady loikki pakoon neljällä jalalla – lisää tällaisia alienjuttuja, kiitos! Myös tekstityksen ”Frog Lady speaking Frog” on aika hulvaton.
’Frog Lady’ is a character from The Mandalorian, and I shouldn’t be too much to ask that a character with lines would have a proper name… Well, I liked it when she was chased by monsters and she jumped away on all fours – more alien things like this, please! Also the captions saying ”Frog Lady speaking Frog” are pretty funny.

Pikaista hölmöilyä. Kiitos herra Bronylle idean pompottelusta!
I quick silly one. Thanks to Mr Brony for bouncing this idea with me!

Every time the space pirate Hondo Ohnaka appeared on the screen in Clone Wars or in Rebels it was going to be fun times. I’m rather happy with this one, especially since I didn’t find any reference pictures of Hondo laughing.

Ei jokainen vaeltaja ole eksynyt… mutta jotkut ovat.
Not all those who wander are lost… but some sure are.

Tämä oli vain hauska piirtää, eli Yoda vuoden 2003 Clone Wars -animaatiosarjan tyylillä. Kyseisessä sarjassa on muutenkin aivan huikea tyyli, sekä visuaalisesti että huumorin osalta.
This was just a fun one to draw, it’s Yoda in the style of the 2003 Clone Wars cartoon. That series has a brilliant style, both in terms of visuals and humor.

Vinkkisanasta huolimatta en tee The Rise of Skywalker -taidetta, koska en pidä kyseisestä elokuvasta. Qui-Gonista ja Obi-Wanista sen sijaan pidän, joten piirsin heidät.
Despite the prompt word, I will not draw The Rise of Skywalker art because I don’t like that movie. I do like Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, though, so I drew them instead.

Minusta tämä onnistui aika kivasti.
I think this one turned out pretty well.

MUSHROOM HUNTING

”I like picking mushrooms. There’s just this one problem…” //
”So, my bucket is full. Time to go.” //
”Oh, there are more mushrooms there! I’ll pick them, too.” //
Soon… ”Now home… Wait…” //
”…” //
”Both of my buckets are full… No room for more. Except…” //
”Now… home. Mustn’t stop anymore. No, more mushrooms…”

”I brought us a mushroom knife with me.” ”I thought we didn’t have a mushroom knife.” //
”We don’t! So I made one. I just taped a fruit knife and a pastry brush together.” //
”Ta-dah!” //
”That is… actually really smart!” ”I know.”

RELATIVENESS

”I am going to Austria in the autumn, to meet some relatives. Gotta go see my nephew.” //
”I mean, my niece. The kid is a girl.” ”Well, you know, same difference.” //
”It does matter, though, as it determines whether I am an aunt or an uncle.” //
”That’s not… That’s not how it goes!” ”I know.”

PELLET TASTING

”These roaches are pretty cute alright. What do they eat?” //
”Veggies, I often give them apple. And these bunny pellets, too.” //
”What do those taste like?” ”I don’t know, I haven’t tested.” //
”Well, I’ll taste them.” ”Me, too!” //
”Hmm…grainy. Not bad.” ”Surprisingly salty.” ”Like a meadow pressed into a block.” ”Piquant! Green…” //
”Like some sort of tea powder.” ”Yes. Kinda, like, forest-y.” //
”The aftertaste is rather long.” ”Let’s have more.” ”Hey seriously now.”
